1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using AuScholar, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Purpose of AuScholar
AuScholar is an independent scholarship and grant discovery service for Australian users. It helps users search selected sources, compare informational matches and open official provider websites. AuScholar is not the scholarship or grant provider.
3. Accounts and profile accuracy
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for providing accurate, current profile information. Do not impersonate another person or use an account without permission. Inaccurate answers may reduce the usefulness of matching.
4. Acceptable use
You must use AuScholar lawfully and must not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, scrape the service in a way that harms availability, misuse provider information, or use generated content to misrepresent your circumstances.
5. Scholarship and grant information
Source information, funding values, dates and requirements can change after being checked. Coverage is selective and does not include every opportunity. Official provider rules control the application, and you are responsible for confirming current information before acting.
6. Automated matching and explanations
Matching, rankings and AI-generated explanations are informational guidance. They may be incomplete or incorrect and do not constitute professional, financial, education or legal advice. A match does not guarantee eligibility, funding or application success.
7. Applications and third-party websites
AuScholar does not submit applications for you. External provider websites operate under their own terms and privacy policies. AuScholar does not control those websites and is not responsible for their availability, content, decisions or application processes.
8. Intellectual property
The AuScholar interface, branding and original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Provider names, scholarship information and linked materials remain the property of their respective owners. You may use the service for personal scholarship discovery but may not reproduce or commercially exploit it without permission.
9. Service availability and account action
The service may change, be interrupted or be withdrawn. Access may be suspended or terminated where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, service protection or a serious breach of these terms.
10. Liability and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, AuScholar is not liable for decisions made by providers, missed deadlines, reliance on outdated information, external-site failures or indirect loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent appropriate and permitted by law, you are responsible for loss caused by your unlawful misuse of the service or deliberate breach of these terms, including misuse of another person's account or information.
11. Changes
AuScholar may change the service and these terms as the product develops. The updated date will be shown on this page. Continued use after a change means the revised terms apply from their stated effective date.
12. Australian law
These terms are governed by laws applicable in Australia. Courts and tribunals with appropriate jurisdiction in Australia may hear disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer or other legal rights.
13. Contact
A public support contact has not yet been configured. Contact details must be added before public launch.
